One of my very best places to eat in the country. The food is always excellent, the service fast and competent. Orders are taken in the bar that has a great selection of Gin and wines, then after drinks you are moved into the dining room.Booking recommended.
We visited for a birthday treat and was excited to pull up to a grand looking building surrounded by trees and fields. We soon settled in to some outdoor drinks and ate lunch before changing to visit the Chase Distillery just down the road. We were able to sample a few rooms as we had visited with our family and all were nicely put together and all the usual amenities were there as needed. We was grateful of the fan in the room to help conquer the mad heatwave that we had. On top of that their is a great bar, nice breakout areas, what looked like a cocktail making course room and nice outdoor space. The hotel is lovely and quirky but the real win for me was the food. Absolutely delicious, its been ages since Ive tasted cuisine like this and I cant recommend enough that you book yourselves in for dinner whilst staying. A few items around the hotel need some TLC but Id guess that could be rectified quickly. All in all a hotel Id be happy to recommend and with a restaurant you really do have to visit.
