Very nice and quiet, lots of land to walk the dog on. He was even aloud in the lakes for a swim
4 nights stay in the springpool vip lodge loved it only 1 negative wifi dosnt work. I would definitely return.
We decided to bite the bullet and try a different site than the normal one than we go to. What a lovely place. The staff were so very helpful and friendly. Our dogs were off the lead most of the time and loved the open space to run about. The lakes were lovely to walk around and there was strategicly placed benches to take in the views. The toilet blocks were lovely and clean and even though we seemed to be the only ones on site they were cleaned twice a day. All in all a great site and we will definitely be going back.
Nice campsite, field not entirely flat but ok as long as you're sleeping the right way round. With slightly older children of be a bit concerned about the ability of the fishing/swimming lake. Our stay was only slightly marred by a very noisy group next door until the early hours :(
We've stopped here as a family group; one lodge and 2 tents. We've had an amazing time. A lovely site with great surroundings. The chance to have fires was a special bonus. And we especially loved the ponds and the wildlife.
